Nuclear Leadership Program
The Nuclear Leadership Training for Leaders is a three-week program combining online self-study modules with instructor‑led sessions. It is designed to strengthen leadership capabilities within the nuclear industry. It focuses on reinforcing nuclear safety culture, leadership and teamwork, and management excellence in alignment with INPO, WANO, and IAEA guidelines. Participants develop practical skills in decision-making, risk and reactivity management, performance improvement, and operational excellence. The program also emphasizes effective communication, feedback, coaching, and stress control in high‑stakes environments. Through real industry cases and best practices, leaders enhance their ability to drive continuous improvement and sustain safe, reliable nuclear operations.

Management Senior Reactor Operator (Management SRO) Certification – This 10-weeks course prepares the successful student to oversee the operation of the Westinghouse AP1000® plant under normal, abnormal, and emergency plant conditions. This course is designed to allow site management and other non-operations personnel a chance to experience the conditions of Main Control Room Licensed Operators and learn more about integrated operations. This content is excellent for nuclear power plant leaders and is applicable to all personnel requiring integrated plant system and operation knowledge. Instruction occurs over nine weeks, on a full-time basis, and one week that covers the systems exam, and introduction to the AP1000 simulators and for travel to either our Cranberry HQ in the USA, or Madrid, Spain. It consists of instructor-led learning platforms and includes use of the AP1000® simulator. At a minimum, students must have knowledge of Pressurized Water Reactor generic fundamentals (available in our CORE platform Digital Learning Tools | Westinghouse Nuclear), systems and operation. Students also must possess math skills including logarithms and algebraic manipulation of equations.
