This three-day course provides a comprehensive introduction to nuclear safety culture, operating experience, and industry regulations, designed for professionals seeking to deepen their understanding of nuclear safety principles.
The first day of the course begins with an instructor-led session followed and self-study modules on safety culture, emphasizing the fundamentals and importance of a robust safety culture in nuclear operations. The second day focuses on operating experience, with participants analyzing significant historical nuclear incidents and exploring industry regulations to understand the regulatory framework. The final day is dedicated to emergency preparedness, where participants learn about emergency protocols through self-study and conclude with an interactive instructor-led session to discuss and reinforce their understanding of emergency response strategies.
By the end of this course, participants will have a solid foundation in nuclear safety culture, a deep understanding of historical operating experiences, and the knowledge to navigate industry regulations and emergency protocols effectively.
